When you book your summer group accommodations on the UNC Chapel Hill campus, you will enjoy convenient housing in residence halls and apartments with thoughtfully designed common areas to foster group interaction.

With proximity to popular campus landmarks and event venues, as well as the bustle of Franklin Street, summer group housing on UNC's park-like walkable campus is the perfect way to build connections among your camp or conference attendees.

Eligibility

As a summer operation within the housing department of a state university, there are some limitations on the types of bookings we can accept. You can check your group's eligibility by taking this short survey.

Reservations

Start by taking the short eligibility survey to be sure UNC Conferences Services is a fit for your group.
After you submit a request form, we will respond by phone or email to review available options.
Please note that submitting a request does not guarantee availability or confirm your reservation.

For Event Planners

UNC Conference Services supports summer camps and conferences by providing overnight accommodations. We do not handle reservations for meeting and event space, venue or athletic facility rentals, catering, dining, or other campus services. For assistance with supplemental services, please use the contact list below:

Meeting & Event Space

If you are interested in meeting space on the UNC Chapel Hill campus, please consult the Reserve Carolina website.
For event space very close to campus, consider the Friday Conference Center, the Rizzo Center, or the Carolina Inn.  
You can also search for local meeting space on the Chapel Hill & Orange County Visitors Bureau website.

Overnight Accommodations During the Academic Year

If you are planning an event in one of the non-summer months (i.e., during the fall, winter or spring), UNC Conference Services would not be able to provide overnight accommodations. Please visit the Chapel Hill/Orange County Visitors Bureau website to find local hotels and conference centers.
